Overview
It is true that Costa Rica is a country in Central America that borders with Nicaragua to the North and Panama in the southeast. The Pacific Ocean lies to the west of Costa Rica whereas the Caribbean Sea lies to the southeast. It is worth to note that this country comprises of adverse landscape compared to other countries in Central America. It also has fauna and flora which is actually not common in other countries. It has rainforests which make home of many world animals in this country. The temperatures are tropical and the country is blessed with attractive beaches of the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. We can also find marshy lowlands in some places within Costa Rica. Tourists like this country simply because of its natural beauty. Many plant and animal species are found in this country too and this attracts tourists from different parts of the world.

Climate / Weather
It is actually too cold around the Caribbean Costa Rica. This is the least visited place due to this weather condition in the whole country of Costa Rica. There are a lot of mosquitoes that make this place unfavourable. The region of Guanacaste is the driest region of Costa Rica and it only experiences few rains all the year round. Summer starts in November and it remains dry till April. The high season runs from December to April and this is the best time to visit Costa Rica.

Getting Around
You can get around Costa Rica using various means of transport. First, we have public buses which mostly service tourist destinations within the country. Buses are more than two on daily basis from and to San Jose. It costs only $7 for the bus fare and thus we can conclude that it is cheap to get around Costa Rica by bus. There are also rental cars where people rent them to go to their favourite tourist destinations especially to the interior beaches. There are also motorcycle rental companies and people can rent motorbikes to get around the country. Taxis are also available whereby the rates are negotiable before boarding the taxi.
Best Time to Travel
The most convenient time to visit Costa Rica will actually depend on what you really want to see. Pay this place a visit when the rains are low simply because some places are totally inaccessible during the time of heavy rains and adverse weather conditions. Summer is the best time to visit Costa Rica.
