Israel is situated, among 29 degree-33 degree north of the equator that is described as a subtropical area, between the tropical zone and the temperate zone.
The rainy season expands from October to first week of May. Rainfall remains in December through February. Rainfall differs significantly by areas from the North to the South. Most rainfall is experiential in the North and middle parts of the country and reduces in the southern region of Israel, from the Negev wasteland to Eilat where rainfall is slight.
Snow falls remain generally December to March in the northernmost part of Golan Heights. But, it is rare in other parts of country.

Best time to travel to Israel
You can visit Israel throughout the whole year. But, the most perfect season is spring (from March to May) and autumn (from September to November). The temperature is mild and climate is cooler in these month; creating it an ideal season to travel around the country.
