Japan stretches at least 20°of latitude from twenty five degree N up to 45 degN with approx. 23°of longitude that is from 122 degree E to 145 degree E; the climate of the country is different from each region. Japan has 4 different seasons. March, April and May are springtime; June, July and August are summer; while September, October, and November are months that have autumn; during the months of December, January and February it is winter in Japan. Generally, summer is hot and humid but at the time of winter, the snow falls a lot on the Seaside of Japan, and it is even dry on the side of the Pacific Ocean.

Best time to go to Japan

Japan is full of awesome cherry blossoms during spring. When you get to Japan during the cherry blossom season is quite an unforgettable experience.  So when do these flowers blossom?

Cherry blossoms also known as Higan Zakura normally start blooming in the month of January particularly in Okinawa; and somei yoshino cherry blossoms will reach their peak the later in the month of March until April in the Honshu region. Usually, cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Hokkaido during the month of May. Although it is very difficult to tell when the cherry blossoms opening dates will be so planning a trip to see the, bloom is not easy. The Weather Association or JWA, the Weathernews INC, and the Weather Map Co., Ltd, mostly announce the cherry blossom forecasts normally each spring.
