When to Travel
You can best visit New Orleans from February to May. This is when the parties are at peak. You can join the Mardi Gras and the Jazz Festival. If you want to make your visit pleasant, you should reserve your hotels at least 6 months before you actually leave. Because this is the peak season, expect to pay for more expensive plane tickets. So you just have to take care of everything in advance to save some money.
