Due to the Gulf Stream the climate of Norway is found to be warmer than it is generally expected to be, especially in the coastal areas. As Norway is located in the high altitude, the warmer climate is not expected. Almost half of the Norway lies to the northern part of Arctic Circle. Summer season are considered to be warm moderately with the temperature more than 30 degree C. It is the same in northern areas as well. But it is the same for a limited period. During the winter season the temperature will be around -25 degree C.

If you want to get around in Norway then its better to choose airways as the roadways and railways are measured to be slow. This is for the reason that the coastline of Norway is very craggy hence domestic flights is considered to be very popular in these areas. The largest operators of airways in Norway are Norwegian, SAS and Wideroe. In some of the towns and cities of northern part of Norway is less and are very further between. This is also the reason for the popularity of air travel in Norway. It is also the most convenient way to get around from town to town.
There are plenty of small airports in every town and flights are available in short intervals. There are plenty of immediate stops for the passengers from embark and disembark. In these areas the tickets are measured to be very expensive as well. The flights available in southern part of Norway are cheaper than the northern parts. Some parts have better roads and railways service; still people choose planes as the most convenient and fastest means for transportation. For some places you cannot find any planes and hence you can use bus or trains to roam around.
