Osaka is Japan’s island city in the kansai region. It is located near river Yodo. On the population front it is considered as the third biggest city in the Japan. Osaka’s metropolitan is one of the top metropolitans in the world. Its expected population is about 18 million. On GDP basis it is second largest in Japan and seventh largest in world. History shows it is the major commercial trade center of the Japan. It contributes a lot to the economical growth of Japan. The Japanese meaning of Osaka is nation’s kitchen. Osaka got its name because of the extensive rise trading centers located in here. It is the first city in the world to get modern exchange market. Osaka is center for trade, commerce and education. The world famous trading centers are located in Osaka only.

Climate

Osaka experiences the subtropical climate zone. In most of the times the climatic conditions are humid. This city follows four different seasons. The winter season begins in February and usually it is mild. February is the coldest month with a temperature of 9.70 Celsius. It undergoes rare snowfall in winters. The spring season starts with a low note and end up with being humid and hot. The rainy season occurs between May and July. Normally summers are very hot. Between July and August and average high temperature reaches to 350C. The average night temperature is around 250C. Fall season is like a mixture of both winter and summer.

Transportation

Get around Osaka city and see some of the unknown places in the city. While traveling around the city you may be in need of tickets and Surutto Kansai is found to be perfect matching traveler who offers all necessary tickets and travel facilities. They also provide rechargeable smart card that can be used in buses, rails and subways. You can also find these cards at the vending machines near railway stations. The cost of these cards is about 2000 Yens and 500 yens will be refunded as a deposited amount. Rail passes are the best option to travel around Osaka.
