Overview

Prague is the city of Czech Republic. It is situated in the North West and it is a home for more than 1.3 million. The city has been a center of Europe in the matter of cultural, economic and political matters during the renaissance and gothic era. It was also the capital of the two Holy Roman Empires. And many tourist and cultural attractions have survived the destruction and the violence of Europe.

The city has more than ten museums together with cinemas, galleries and historical exhibits. It is has many schools including the Charles University. Its history makes it an attraction for tourist destination; it has been classified as the global city.

There are many sites that you can visit when you go to Prague. There are Prague castle, old Town square, Astromical Clock, Charles Bridge, Old synagogue, Infant Jesus Prague and Wenceslas square among many others.

There are also many cultural sites such as Estates Theatre and National Theatre where Mozart performed the La clemenza di Tito and Don Giovanni.

Transportation

The city uses integrated transport. Roads, it is the main transport in the country and many roads are being build to release the congestion. The rails, the Czech railways serve all parts of the country and reaches abroad. It links the country with other cities such as Bratislava, Poland, Warsaw, Berlin, Slovakia, Germany and Dresden.

Air, the city has the Prague Ruzyne Airport, which is the busiest in Eastern and Central Europe. It serves the Czech Airlines, Wizzair and Smart Wings. The city has many stadiums and teams for its numerous sports.

Best Time to Travel

If you want to visit Prague, the best time is in the spring or in the fall when the climate is mild and when there are fewer tourists. Because the city has chilly climate in generally, the warmer summer will see many visitors. This is the time for sightseeing but as the temperature rises also the hotel rates rises. The fall and Spring have clear skies, good temperature and low hotel rates. If you want to enjoy what the town has to offer, you can consider going there during the winter but remembering that it snows heavily and the temperature is always low.

If you want to visit the town the best time is March to May but make sure that you booked two weeks before going to the city as your cant leave this place in hurry.
