San Diego has a beautiful climate, almost all year round. Its mild sunny weather, like that in the Mediterranean, is very attractive to tourists. The hottest time of the year in San Diego would be when summer is almost coming to an end and the beginning of fall. There are some months when it gets cloudy from the morning until early afternoon, this occurs during the months of May and June; also known as the “May Grey” and “June Gloom”. Again, this is something that should keep you from enjoying the beautiful city.

When to Visit
Since the weather is really good in San Diego, you can fly in almost any day of the year. But if you are looking for a time when there would be a fewer number tourists to bump into, you can try to find flights for the months of November to January.
Peak Seasons for tourists bound for San Diego, would be during the summer. People are looking forward to soaking up the sun and being able to enjoy life at the beach. You can also try booking your flights during the winter and fall.
Subtle seasons would be in the month of May, and between the months September and October.
