United States of America includes both types of populated cities like densely populated cities and the less populated cities in it. Washington D.C is the capital city of United States of America. The area of United States of America is about 3 million miles square. The population of United States of America is about 308, 745, 538 as per the census conducted during April of 2010. It also comprises of areas with vast uninhabited areas, mesmerizing natural beauty and sprawling suburbs. It encountered a mass immigration of people during the period of 17th century, hence has almost all cultures from all over the world. United States of America is also measured as the most powerful and the world’s wealthiest nation.

United States of America faces an overall temperate climate with prominent exceptions. South Florida and Hawaii are measured to be tropical where as Alaska has the arctic tundra. The great plains are flat dry and grassy which turns into arid desert towards the far west and the Mediterranean down the California coast. There will be a snowfall for about 2 feet which is about 61 cm in a day during the time of winter in mid western and northern major cities. Sometimes the temperature will about 100 degree F with much mild and humid weather. Some of the areas of northern plains will experience cold temperatures of about – 30 degree F during the winter seasons. Sometimes it will be around 0 degree F in the regions of south part of Oklahoma.

The total land area of United States of America and the distance between each major city makes the air way as the most prominent mode of travel for short term travelers as well. Travelling by car or train will surely consume much time but will be a great experience and very interesting if there is much time for journey.
