What consists a good travel journal?
1. Date
Putting the date of your travel, the hour, and the exact time will make your travel journal a detailed one. This is one way of keeping track of your travel, activities and special moments that happened.
2. Details
Do not be limit yourself with couple of words in writing the details of your travel/ Be as descriptive as possible, put the name of the restaurants that you like, the churches you have visited, and the names of the people whom you have met (contact details as well if you get one).
3. Photos
Photos are best proof of your travel. They will serve as a living proof that indeed you went to a particular place, have a vacation there while having fun as well. Put in photos of unusual events, people, things, and other stuff that you find it interesting. Do not put on photos about yourself only. It should be photos about the place and your experiences.
4. Souvenirs
If you can place some souvenirs on the journal that will remind you of the place it would be great. This will serve as a good piece of artwork as well. You can see in the souvenirs something that is distinct in the place such raw materials, the design, etc.
Now you know what to put on into your journal, it would be best that you do keep your journal as creative and beautiful as it can be. Put your heart into it and you will have some sort of records that will showcase your travels from different places.
Remember, think out of the box. Do not focus on making a lengthy journal with pure words and that’s it. You can add some memorabilia such as plane tickets, bus tickets, and other things that will serve as a good reminder about what you have been doing in your chosen destination.
