2. Never drink tap water, be sure it is bottled water
Tap water is one of the sources for illnesses like diarrhea, stomach pains, and many more. You need to be very careful as to what you drink. It would be much safer if you drink bottled water than tap water. To be safe, be sure you purchase bottled water from a well-known brand. If you want to drink beverages go for bottled sodas and liquors.
3. Bring along with you basic medication for headache, hyperacidity, cough
It is not certain whether there is a nearby pharmacy at the place where you will be staying. Therefore, you must bring along you basic medication for cough, headache and hyperacidity. This will give you relief in an instant. Things get worst if you have to rush to the nearby pharmacy to go buy tablets to cure hyperacidity. At least, when all these tablets are inside your bag, you need not to worry about going out there and searching for a place that sells tablets.
4. Take multivitamins daily even if you are on a vacation
As they all say, prevention is better than cure. Aside from the vaccination shots you got before leaving your country, never forget to take multivitamins when you are on a vacation. This will give your immune system a boost and protects you from getting sick.
