When you go abroad or travel to another place within the country, it is very important that you do keep yourself organize. Thus, it would help if you are going to have the necessary documents with you every time you travel.
Always remember to have these documents photocopied at least 3 copies. This will help you out in the future for check-ups, to report a loss, or other places you might have these handy.
The following are the documents that you need to bring along with you when you travel:
1. Travel Itinerary
It is not advisable to publicize your itinerary where you are going. You need to leave your travel itinerary including contact number at your office and family member. This will make them be aware where you are going and in case of emergency you can be contacted or they can contact the number you have given to them. Also, tag along a travel itinerary with you as well. In this way, you keep track on where you are going, etc.
2. Passport
Be sure that your passport has at least 6 months validity. Have the first page that has your photograph on it photocopied at least 3x. You should place one in right inside your luggage, carry-on bag, and one at your office or a family member.
3. Visa
Bring along with you the appropriate visa i.e tourist visa or business visa. Be sure that the information stated on your visa application is accurate. False information is a ground for being incarcerated.
4. Credit Cards
Bring along credit cards that you do need. You can bring like 2 credit cards, in case the other one does not work you have a spare one to use for.
5. Others
Driver’s license, business documents, credit card numbers, travelers checks, plane tickets should be photocopied at least 3 copies. This will save you time in case there will be check ups, or to report a loss, etc.
There you have it different documents that you must tag along with you whether you travel in a place within the country or abroad. This will serve you well especially during inspection from the Immigration, airport, or when you report a loss of a thing to the authorities.
Always keep one photocopy in wallet or bag especially when you are already out there traveling. In this way, you need not to go back to the hotel to get hold of the documents.
